When using an internet browser like Chrome, sometimes a little popup will appear to ask if that site you are visiting can track your location. By force of habit most of us block this ability.
However, Accede Maps requires this function to be turned on if you wish to be loaded in the correct area of the map that you are currently working in. Otherwise the map may show you being in New York when you are working in Sydney.
Solving for Chrome
1. To turn on location settings click on the paddock next to the URL in the search bar.
2. When you click on the paddock a popup will appear that looks like this:
3. Where the button says Block, click on the dropdown arrow to change it to Allow.
4. Once you have done that Chrome will ask you to reload the page. Click on the blue reload button to reload the page.
5. Now you have location settings turned on and you will see a little blue dot on the map indicating where you are.
Solving for Firefox
1. Click on the padlock next to the URL to bring up the location settings.
2. Click the cross next to where it says Blocked Temporarily to clear the permission and have Firefox ask for permission again.
3. Once you have cleared the permission Firefox will require you to reload the page. Click on the reload button or press Ctrl and R to reload the page.
4. Once the page has been reloaded, Firefox will ask you again if you wish to grant location access. Click on the blue button Allow Location Access to enable the function.
5. Now you have location settings turned on and you will see a little blue dot on the map indicating where you are.
